Archetypal Mapping
Archetypal Mapping is inspired by the work of Carolyn Myss and informed by the teachings of Carl Jung, wisdom traditions, and the I Ching.
An archetype is a universal pattern of human experience that can be found across cultures, myths, religions, and throughout history. Examples include the Caregiver, the Teacher, the Seeker, the Saboteur, and the Child.
Each archetype contains both strengths and shadows, gifts and lessons. Through Archetypal Mapping, we explore the unique collection of archetypal patterns that influence how you perceive the world, relate to others, make decisions, and navigate life’s challenges.
Understanding these patterns can strengthen self awareness, clarify recurring themes in your life, deepen self trust, and support more intentional decision making.
While archetypal work is symbolic rather than scientific, many people find it to be a meaningful framework for understanding themselves and the deeper narratives that shape their lives.
Goddess Guidance
Throughout history, many cultures have understood the Divine through the feminine. Goddesses have served as symbols of wisdom, protection, courage, love, sovereignty, creation, destruction, transformation, and countless other aspects of the human experience.
In this work, we explore the Goddesses whose stories, qualities, and energies most closely align with your life, values, strengths, challenges, aspirations, and path. Much like archetypes, Goddesses can serve as mirrors, guides, companions, and teachers.
Some Goddesses emerge as Grandmother Goddesses who offer wisdom and perspective, Matron Goddesses who serve as primary guides throughout one’s life, and Sister Goddesses who walk alongside us during particular seasons, lessons, or challenges.
Through conversation, reflection, and exploration, we identify the Goddess who appears to hold a particularly significant place in your life, along with other
Goddesses whose wisdom and energy may offer support at different stages of your journey. Together, we explore the ways these Divine Feminine energies may already be expressing themselves through your decisions, relationships, strengths, challenges, and life direction. This process is ultimately a path of self-discovery. By understanding which Divine Feminine energies resonate most deeply, many people find greater self-understanding, confidence, direction, and a richer relationship with the sacred.
End of Life & Grief Support
For nearly three years, I served as Director of Spiritual Care within residential treatment and healthcare settings, where I had the profound privilege of sitting with individuals as they approached the end of life.
Together, we reflected on the stories of their lives, their accomplishments and celebrations, their regrets and unfinished business, their fears about death, and the ways they sought meaning as they approached life’s final chapter.
My approach draws from philosophy, wisdom traditions, spirituality, and existential thought. Over the years, I have worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including Christianity, Buddhism, Celtic and Earth-based traditions, as well as those who identify with secular humanism or no spiritual tradition at all.
I also work with family members and loved ones who are navigating loss and seeking meaning after the death of someone they cherish.
This work is not psychotherapy. Rather, it is a spiritual and philosophical exploration of life’s most profound questions. Depending upon a person’s beliefs and preferences, our work may include reflection, prayer, ritual, discussion of spiritual traditions, or conversations about meaning, purpose, mortality, legacy, and the nature of a life well lived.
Wisdom Traditions & Spiritual Exploration
Some people simply love philosophical and spiritual conversation. Others are searching for a framework that helps them better understand themselves, their values, and the way they make meaning of life.
This work is heavily informed by my academic background in Holistic Health Studies at San Francisco State University, where my studies included the philosophies of religion and spirituality, the work of William James, Eastern and Western belief systems, and the relationship between worldview, healing, and human wellbeing.
Together, we explore the traditions, philosophies, and perspectives that have shaped humanity’s understanding of meaning, purpose, suffering, morality, identity, and the nature of a life well lived.
This work may be of interest to those who are curious about a particular spiritual or philosophical tradition, seeking a framework that aligns with their values, or simply enjoy thoughtful conversations about life’s deeper questions.
Depending on your interests, our discussions may include philosophy, comparative religion, spiritual traditions, contemplative practices, ritual, prayer, meditation, ethics, meaning making, and the practical ways various traditions approach living a meaningful life.
This work is educational, exploratory, and reflective in nature. It is not intended to persuade you toward any particular belief system, but rather to support your own understanding of the values, philosophies, and traditions that resonate most deeply with you.
