For two decades, I have dedicated my career to understanding human behavior, psychological wellbeing, spirituality, and the pursuit of meaningful change.

My work has spanned counseling, spiritual care, research, education, writing, and public outreach, all with a shared focus on helping people cultivate greater clarity, resilience, and freedom.

My educational background includes:

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University, a graduate school with a Stanford Consortium

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Minor in Holistic Health Studies

  • Certificate in Holistic Health Studies

  • Earned summa cum laude honors throughout my academic training

I have worked in the field of behavioral health and wellness since 2007. Since 2015, I have provided over 15,000 hours of clinical care in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and the state of Arizona.

Professional Background

Autumn Jerumbo in the Arizona desert offering life coaching focused on clarity, decision making, intentional living, and personal growth.

After completing a rigorous counseling internship at The Meadows, a world renowned inpatient treatment center, I went on to specialize in:

  • Decision making, Self-Discipline, & Addiction Recovery

  • Assertiveness Training & Boundaries

  • Ethics, Manipulation & Power Dynamics

  • Intimate Partner Violence & Dangerous Personalities

  • Grief & End of Life Care

I have also worked closely with the justice system, providing care to both victims of crime and those who have committed crime. Additionally, I served as the Director of Spiritual Care at a medical and residential facility specializing in end of life care. In that role, I supported the spiritual and religious needs of patients, residents, and their families by offering prayer, connecting individuals with clergy of their specific faith traditions, leading discussions on the philosophies of various religions and spiritual traditions, and officiating celebration of life ceremonies.

Additional Professional Work

My professional background also includes:

  • Product development research supporting adolescents facing cancer and serious health challenges

  • Mental health writing

  • Nutrition coaching

  • Life skills education

  • Training for medical teams, victim advocates, and hospital administration

  • Co authoring research studies published in academic journals

Since the spring of 2022, I have embraced a nomadic lifestyle, taking my work on the road while living a life rooted in simplicity and freedom. I made the intentional decision to step away from licensed clinical practice; multi-jurisdictional licensure simply isn’t compatible with a life on the road.

As part of this shift, my one-on-one work has moved into Life Coaching, Nomadic Coaching, and Spiritual Care, drawing on insights from my background but offered in a different, non-clinical capacity as described on the Life Coaching page.

Additionally, I am the creator of Autumn & Chloe, a nomadic lifestyle vlog dedicated to sharing the beauty and story of alternative living.

Current Work

I also serve as a Roving Reporter, Manager, and Producer at CheapRVliving, working with a team of nomads to share rig tours and practical educational content that helps people thoughtfully explore vehicle dwelling with an emphasis on wellbeing, self reliance, and practical living.

Through my YouTube channels and other projects, I continue to explore psychology, spirituality, self reliance, and the pursuit of what I call the sweetest freedom.
